Description
Since 1891, in San Marco dei Cavoti (Benevento), the artisanal pastry shop "Premiata Fabbrica", founded under the guidance of Cavalier Innocenzo Borrillo, has been producing the famous "Baci" nougat. A unique recipe passed down from father to son, ever since the Cavaliere had the idea of sealing the almond and hazelnut nougat with a layer of finest dark chocolate, allowing to preserve the flavor and crunchiness, making the nougat famous worldwide. Today the pastry shop is run by the Cavaliere's nephew, his namesake, who guards the ancient recipe for this fantastic product like a small treasure.
